Copy Theft Discovered!

Hello

Some of you might have heard about my battle against texture copy thefts. Today in to my shock and horror I found more of my work taken without permission. My original Catsuits, 100% handdrawn and illustrated by me was illegally obtained and sold by another party.

Do not buy from vendors who sell stolen goods. Report them to the relevant designers and we will check it out and when confirmed we will then file a DMCA Notification and take whatever necessary steps.

best regards
Nicky Ree

How do we know if a merchant is selling copied goods?

I realize some don't think about this as being a crime or even only a major impropriety.
I for myself find it disgusting. If I know, I won't buy from a merchant who has been proven a thieve and I will make sure all of my friends know about it.
Is there any initiative by those who actively participate in the IR-campaign to create any sort of a blacklist of proven cases, naming those? I would find that tremendously helpful.

If you do decide to go the DMCA route, please let me know how it works out. I'll be eager to hear if and how Linden helps. I've been following this closely as of late.

Hi Jonathan
I filed DMCA on the stolen textures and LL took the items down. But I found out that another person was selling the full perms taga files and I filed another dmca on that person and LL took down those vendors in her stores. I am not satisified with the way LL handles it, as they only take down vendors and those stolen textures are still floating around in their servers.
