New Cabaret Star Collection by Nicky Ree

Some of you may recall my older design called "Mooie Vogel" where I played with feathers and creating 2 lovely cocktail party dresses.

This year, I have revived those feather textures and updated them with a new design. This new Cabaret Star Collection gives you loads of options for styles, from a sexy cabaret outfit with glamourous tail feathers complete with matching feathered gloves and stockings.



But if you prefer a more covered up look, there is also options for an elegant long gown complete with matching hat or a sexy salsa style dress. All this different looks available in the set.

Now displayed in my main store in Tropical Orchid and available in 10 lovely colours.

New Cecilia Collection By Nicky Ree

Hi :)

This new gown, dress and swimwear collection uses the colourful patterns of paint splashes as a motif for the fabric design.

The style is elegant simplicity with a touch of glamour for that sunny day by the beach or pool or that party that you just need to go to.

I got the inspiration from my memory of a photo I had of my mom, taken when she was in her early twenties, she was wearing such a dress with a full circular skirt with cute little puff sleeves with matching hat and shoes.

My mom's name is Cecilia, hence why I called this collection "Cecilia"

Cecilia is available for purchase in 2 seperate collection, (1) Cecilia Beach Wear Sets and (2) Cecilia Gown & Dress Sets.

Both Cecilia collections comes in 8 assorted colours in my main store in Tropical Orchid. It is displayed in front on the red carpet runway stage.

Dina Pre - release Collection for Nicky Ree Group Members

Dina Gown and Beach Wear Collection is now available to the public, it is displayed in my main store in Tropical Orchid on the red carpeted runway stage near the entrance.






Dina set uses the simple elegant wave lines created and drawn in photoshop to create the fabric pattern for a sophisticated yet sexy look for both evening and a casual day at the beach. The folds, highlights, creases for the outfits and fabric are all original drawn artwork created in photoshop by Nicky Ree, no photo source were used.

Pre-release sold at a discount now available for Nicky Ree's Fashion Group Members for a limited period.
Group discount period is from 27th May till 30th May at 12 noon SLT.

New colours added to Silva Collection

Hi :)

I designed and created my Silva Gown & Dress Collection way back in the beginning of 2007.

Since then I have several requests from customers to add some new colours to the range.Finally this month :) I managed to add 7 new colours to the Silva Collection.

The new colours are chocolate, black, lavender, orange, salmon pink, silver and teal.







Silva gown and dress is now available in 14 colours in total in my main store in Tropical Orchid. Silva is displayed in the gown section on the left near the stairway steps.

Its time for colourful spring and summer styles! Kaila swim set comes in a bright fushion of colours.

The fabric textures used for this set are all original creations, drawn and made in photoshop by Nicky Ree. The cut, folds, shadows and creases for the outfit are all drawn in photoshop, no photo source used.

This set gives you several options for styles.

This collection uses the fabric pattern of colourful swirls which I created in photoshop using various techniques and strokes combined with montages of sketches.

About DNR Water Nymph Adrie and Nadia Collection

I got my inspiration one day while watching some droplets splashing against my window one rainy day and began experimenting on designing some water motifs, spashes and textures.

This Water Collection comes in 2 Collections, namely Water Nymph Adrie and Water Nymph Nadia.

Water Nymph Adrie has a more sleeker svelte long skirt, you can either choose to wear it in a style of the system skirt or without.
There are 2 tops for this outfit, one covering the entire bodice and one revealing a sexy midrift. I have also included a one piece swim suit option with the set.

Water Nymph Nadia has a full grand bell shaped ball gown skirt for that grand entrance in any formal event and a lovely ballerina Tutu Skirt style.
Included in this set is an optional under shirt for a more covered up top. I have also included a one piece swim suit option with the set.

*DNR* RFL 2009 Adephagia Gown Set Auction Decision

Hello Everyone,

About *DNR* RFL 2009 Adephagia Gown in Pink

It seems there was some trouble during the last few minutes during the auction. I was told by several people there that a certain individual had bid very high several times in a same row and then backed down at the last minute wanting only to pay the lower price but was disqualified.

The auction price ranged during the last few minutes were from 71K 75K 100K 125L 175K and then the person backed out and it was back down to 71000.

Thus spoiling the whole spirit of the auction and depriving some people who were thinking of bidding above the 71K.

After thinking if over, having chatted with Nevar Lobo and some parties involved in the auction, I have decided to void the auction of the RFL 2009 Adephagia Gown in Pink.

This is not at all any fault of the organizers and I think Nevar and his team have tried their best and have done a good job and I thank them for their hard work for RFL Clothing Fair 2009.

I have paid $71000L back to Fish Kungfu and the donation to RFL kiosk of $71000L is not affected and will still be donated to Relay For Life. Fish Kungfu and RFL 2009 will not loose anything.

I personally thank Fish Kungfu for his support as this is entirely not his fault, he is honest and was bidding in a fair manner. I have also sent a copy of the RFL 2009 Adephagia Gown to Fish Kungfu's friend as he meant to buy it for her in the first place. I have invited him to donate whatever amount he wishes for the gown to the RFL Kiosk that I have set up in my main store in Tropical Orchid. So in this respects RFL will still benefit more from the donation for this gown.

As for the *DNR* RFL 2009 Adephagia Gown, I have yet to finalized my plans for it but I may in future hold limited sets for auction for the benefit of RFL during the RFL 2009 period.

The details like date, time, location and how to bid or buy will be disclose at a later time. For future auctions or limited pieces, I will change the colour of the gown so in that respects Fish has still bought a one of the kind gown of that colour.
