New Release - Sweet Theresa Dress Collection by Nicky Ree

Hi :)

It has been a long while, since my last release. I have been recovering from jet lag and it took me a long time to get back to the work flow of designing again.

I finally managed to get my new collection entitled "Sweet Theresa Dresses". The flower pattern on the fabric of the dress is taken from one of the many flower designs I did for my older collection "Spring Romance". This time round I did an updated version of the flowers and created a sweet simple dress collection with it.

Available in various colours in my main store at Tropical Orchid, displayed at the front near the sofa area. Matching shoes also available for sale.

Mui Magic Collection now available!

My new Mui Magic Collection is now made available for sale to the general public inworld in my main store in Tropical Orchid (216, 128, 30)

This is a whopper of a set. I experimented in photoshop to create this special pattern and relief for the textile.

This collection has many options and styles for you to play with.

Nicky Ree Catsuit Photo Contest Results!

Hi :)

I have to thank everyone who entered the contest for their effort and the lovely and interesting pictures. I am really amazed at the creativity and the high level of competition this contest had. It really made judging very difficult. All the judges agreed that they could have easily selected 30 winners.

There were so many pictures I loved but there had to be one winner and a first runner up. We finally narrowed it down to the top 12 selections and chose the top 2 winners.

I am doing a pre-release special for my group members. My new collection entitled "Mui Magic Collection" will be sold at a discount of 20% to group members. The special discount starts from the 4th Feb and ends on the 10th Feb 2009 at 11 am SLT.

A Sneak Preview - Egyptian Goddess Collection

Hi

Several talented designers and I have designed several special collection inspired by the motifs, clothes and fashion worn at the time of ancient Egypt in conjunction with the launch of a special event and sim created by the talented people behind Rezzable.

My contribution to this Egyptian themed event is called "Egyptian Goddess Collection" I had made several sketches of styles, but alas, time was running out for me and only managed to work on one set. I hope you will like this collection.

There is a preview, on 4th February 2pm SLT Fashion Show open only to bloggers and press. On the 6 February 2pm SLT Fashion Show open to everyone. Details can be found on "

Catsuit contest is now closed

Hi :)

The Nicky Ree Catsuit Contest is now closed and judging begins today. The results will be announced on 8th Feb. 2009 and the first prize winner will win the 20,000L cash prize and the first runner up 7,000L cash prize. One of the judges is my former boss and creative director of a multi-national publishing company and a photographer, hence why we needed a week to cater for the different work schedules and time differences across the continents.

I must thank all of you for all your beautiful pictures and I hope you had fun making them. It will be a difficult task deciding on the winner.

New Lady Mei Victorian Collection by Nicky Ree

I had sketches of a victorian style collection sitting on my desk for months. Finally this month I managed to put my ideas onto digital form in photoshop. I chose the name "Mei" for several reasons. "Mei" in chinese can mean pretty, beautiful or a generic name for a young lady or little sister as in "Mei Mei" and in dutch "mei" is the name for the month of May.

While drawing this collection I kept thinking about my mother, guess after seeing her during my November holidays I am missing her again and since my mother's birthday is in the month of may, this collection name was thus named.

Lady Mei Victorian Collection comes with 2 different styles, one a more traditionally inspired gown of the victorian era, great for role playing and one in a more sleeker and modern style with a svelte long skirt for that evening of classic elegance. Available in 18 colours in my main store in Tropical Orchid.

The colours available are : Yellow Gold, Steel, Silver White, Salmon N Pink, Red, Red N Choc, Red N Black, Purple, Pink, Pearl Blush, Green, Gold N Green, Choc, Blue, Black, Black N Purple, Aqua, Aqua N Blue.

While designing the gown I got inspired to design some matching hats to go with it. The hats designed for this collection is sold seperately.

Nicky Ree Catsuit Photo Contest 2009

To Kick Start 2009, I have decided to hold a Catsuit Photo Contest.

These catsuits were some of the earliest items that I designed way back in 2006 when I was just a newbie in SL. So for sentimental reasons I decided to choose these catsuits for the photo contest.

The Designing Nicky Ree Catsuit Photo Contest starts on the 30th December 2008 and ends on 30th January 2009 at 12 pm SLT.

This contest is open to all SL residents who have bought my catsuit outfits legally.
